I’m 20 years old, and I’ve been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always had dogs, and they were a big part of our lives until two years ago when our last dog sadly passed away.
My grandparents are also big animal lovers; they used to have sheep and now still keep chickens and dogs. We often joined my grandfather on trips to the dog training school, which was always a fun experience.
This summer, friends of ours went on vacation, and their dog stayed with us for a week. We were thrilled to have a furry companion around again—it reminded us how much we miss having an animal in the house.
